The motivation of the Surgery
I did braces when I was young but my teeth are still not
in alignment. The dentist also said that double jaw surgery is needed for me. I
met a professor who is famous for orthodontics and she said that my length of
the jaw joint is different and that the joint would not be compatible unless
with surgery. Originally, I want to do surgery since I wanted to work as the
service field. Also, I do not like my asymmetric face and uncomfortable while
chewing food! Even before the surgery, I tried to collect information from
applications and acquaintances who had done double jaws since high school. My parents
and I had no intention of doing plastic surgery but only oral and maxillofacial
surgeon center.
Post OP 1 Day
I woke up from the anesthetic, and the surgery was
complete! I can't even think about looking in the mirror. I was really weak and
tired and kept bleeding, so I was scared and scared. Breathing is also
inconvenient. At night and dawn, nurses often visit me. I remember that she is
being so kind. Thank you so much.
Post OP 2 Days
I remove a tube out of my nose and went back and forth to
the bathroom once, but I feel weak. I was better than yesterday, but I was
still weak, so I lied down like a dead body. I felt stuffy because I couldn't
speak and felt a little refreshed when disinfection!
Post OP 3 Days
I discharged from the hospital. One disadvantage after
surgery is that my face is much swollen than days 1 and 2. I was surprised to
see the mirror. I can't even wash my face since its so swollen I feel like my
head is so heavy like a blowfish. After about 3 days, I was not sick and tired
anymore. When I try to laugh loudly, you'll get pain from the stitches area :(
Post OP 4 Days
I think I'm more swollen today than yesterday. I went to
the hospital and said it was possible to get a swelling laser treatment and
wash my face. so I was so happy to remove the tape on my face and became soft
and smooth. My face was so swollen that it was hard to wear it. ^,, I heard the
third and fifth days are the worst, but I think it's true!!
Post OP 6 Days
I do not feel pain or sick anything after surgery. I'm
most interested in swelling!!
Post OP 7 Days
Now that I have the trick to take medicine easily! I'm
not getting used to the taste of New Care so try to drink other stuff instead
of newcare. I'm not dizzy and I am doing fine!
Post OP 8 Days
The doctor checked my bite after disinfection.
Post OP 9 Days
Father told me that he liked my face so much! I can speak
and laugh much better than before, so I was fortunate to have a better
recovery. There are so many foods I want to eat now. I never realize that
chewing is a big happiness.
Post OP 15 Days
Time to remove stitches! It has been post-op 2weeks
already that I was nervous because I heard it was painful when the doctor
removes the stitches. Actually, it stings a little bit? I feel much refresh
after removing stitches. Also, the doctor told me that my bite is a little
unstable, so I wore a rubber on my teeth and it was uncomfortable.
Post OP 17 Days
I think my mouth is getting more natural than before.
It's more natural when I take out the wafer! I'm waiting for the swelling to go
down on my mouth and cheeks!
Post OP 28 Days
I was checking the progress with my surgeon and I thought
I made the right hospital to do the surgery. The surgeon is so kind and
well-mannered and my mom really liked him! Also, its my first day to get braces
and the orthodontist told me that my bite is still unstable that I need to wear
wafer and put a rubber band on my teeth: (
Post OP 35 Days
Due to swelling, I feel like I still have asymmetry and I can eat verity food
right now. .
Post OP 54 Days
Finally, I made an appointment with my friend, my face
looks much better than another day. Also, I should practice mouth exercise more
often due to making a better mouth shape.
Post OP 5 Months
I am really happy that my bite is stable and when I look
at the mirror I really like my jawline.,
Post OP 6 Months
I took a picture with the basic camera and it was good
that it seems like I have a symmetric face and bite is stable. I'm thinking
about getting pin removal surgery. My face looks very natural without
deswelling! Also, I like the chin line the most when I smile. Right after
surgery, my lip looks unnatural, but now I'm glad that I look good after
surgery!
Post OP 8 Months
I am living a comfortable life after surgery. I can't
remember my life before the surgery. It was really hard then, but I'm living
happily after adjusting to my daily life. LOL. Even if I turn back time, I
think I'll definitely do the surgery. I can't wait to finish braces. Also, I'm
thinking about removing pins within this year.
Post OP 9 Months
After surgery, I felt that the face shape
looks the prettiest when there isn’t much fat on it! But since I haven’t been
maintaining my weight, my face became very round. It’s been a long time since
my surgery that I almost forgot. I want to finish my braces as quickly as
possible.

OP 10 Months
10 months after surgery, I’ve been doing
well. The only people who know that I had surgery are my close friends, and no
one else knows ^_^. I guess it looks natural! It wasn’t my intention to keep
the fact that I had surgery a secret though. I’m still in the middle of
orthodontic treatment at EU. Since its done to match my occlusion, it gives me
more trust in EU. Time flies by quickly and I want to retake my ID picture. If
it wasn’t for corona, I would have went around outside more. I’m glad that the
surgery went well and I am not experiencing any discomfort!

OP 11 Months
It’s almost been a year since I had
surgery. I’m living without any discomforts. Travelling to Seoul for my monthly
orthodontic treatment is a bit difficult but since the staff are so kind, I’m
able to go with no problem! So nowadays, I’m considering pin removal surgery. I
sometimes forget that I had surgery and I’m completely satisfied and happy.
